Nick was nominated by a patient's family:
"My Mother-in-law was on floor 2 for over 2 weeks. During that time Nick
Cameron was her nurse on the evening shift several times. He was always caring and compassionate and listened to her needs. The one day that sticks in my mind the most is- My mother-in-Law's heart once again went into A-fib and Nick immediately responded to the alarm and starting contacting doctors for orders. It was nearing the end of Nicks shift and her heart was not back to normal yet and Nick stayed past his shift until it was. He could have left, but he knew his presence during the entire episode meant so much to Paula, that he stayed with her. Nick was also her nurse the evening she passed away-once again Nick was compassionate and caring not only with his patient but with the family as well. He always brought a smile to her face and
took awesome care during her last days...she knew she was in good hands when Nick was on duty. Thanks Nick for being there for us all!!"
