Nicole Sukich

Nicole is a phenomenal example of a Daisy nurse! Recently, while a patient was here and it was clear he would be passing away, family was ushered in from out of state. This RN went the extra mile to meet their physical as well as emotional needs. The little grandchildren were scared and didn’t want to be in the room. This RN walked the halls with them time and again so the parents were available at bedside. She provided activities, snacks for the kids and loving care to all involved. Beyond that, she attended the patient’s funeral and passed around a condolence card on behalf of the floor to sign for the family. She is an excellent resource to others on the unit and continues to provide care that goes above and beyond “routine” nursing.
