Peter Jadie
The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses recognizes the super-human work nurses do every day. It was established in 2000 by the DAISY Foundation. Nurses are nominated for the award by patients and family members. Here is what they had to say about Peter Jadie, RN, Telemetry & PACU (recovery room): My grandmother was here for back surgery. She is in her 80s. Needless to say, she was in a lot of pain. Pete was the first one and only one to get her a bed that weighs her so that she doesn't continuously get hurt by getting on the lift with the metal in her back. That means a lot to my grandmother and all other family. Thank you for going out of your way and thinking of something to cause my grandmother less pain and anxiety.
