This patient came to BCGH on 7/2/09 as the first lap band patient and was very nervous. Her nurse made her feel like she was her best friend; like she was the only patient she had (the patient’s daughter is a nurse so she knows this was not true). If this nurse was multi tasking she did not know it and she felt very welcome. The nurse delivered excellent care and was absolutely wonderful. She deserves the highest recognition. The nurses’ superiors need to know she is an excellent nurse. The patient’s husband was even pleased.
