Robin Hopkins
Robin Hopkins was nominated for a DAISY Award by one of her recent patients, who said, “Robin made sure that I was comfortable, checked if I needed anything, and showed a great interest in me and my well being.” When patients come to us, there are so many unknowns that cause fear, and this nurse took the time to bring the comfort and care to her patient when she needed it the most. SJMOH President Joe Tasse, Director of Inpatient Nursing Cathy Barwick, and 5 Tower Manager Ruth Ingram, were delighted to bestow this honor on Robin in front of her peers. As the staff gathered at the nurses station for the celebration, Robin was very excited to see which one of her co-workers was being honored…she was surprised to find it was all for her!
