Rosanne Carrillo, RN
Nurse Case Manager, Hyperbarics, Texas Diabetes Institute - University Center for Community Health, University Health System
San Antonio, Texas |
I have had the pleasure of working closely with Rosanne Carrillo, Hyperbaric Wound Care Clinic unit manager.
Rosanne is a caring, compassionate, nurse who not only care deeply for the patients but also the staff. In my 4 years working at UCCH, I have increased my knowledge in wound care due to the leadership and guidance of Rosanne.
She provides a compassionate, highly motivated, positive workplace
environment. Rosanne encourages staff members to reach their full
potential by supporting their individuality and uniqueness. She values
the talents and gifts each staff member brings to the unit. Rosanne
demonstrates a caring and respectful attitude toward the patients and
gains their trust with her professional behavior, while upholding UHS
standards. Many patients seek Rosanne because of her family oriented
values. Rosanne takes the time to greet patients when they visit the
clinic to assure high quality of care, which as a result, gain the wound
care clinic high remarks during the patient satisfactions surveys.
Rosanne implements quality of care by organizing and scheduling training
for the staff such as Sunrise training, wound care in-services, and
arranging supportive staff to attend infection control & safety
meetings. The wound care clinic is being efficiently managed by a highly
qualified professional and unique individual whose personality reflects
that of the staff who enjoy coming to work everyday.
Sincerely, Criselda Escamilla, LVN Hyperbaric Wound Care Clinic
