Rudy Burrola

Rudy is an excellent nurse. He makes a stressful situation easier by bringing humor and compassion to the job. His technical skills are great and his assessment skills are phenominal. He is often sought out by other nurses for help. Rudy spends a lot of time with his patients. He is a true advocate for our patients. We had a 17-year old patient who was in tremendous pain despite multiple modalities, Rudy fought all night to resolve his pain management. He makes the kids laugh and plays with them. He also really puts our families at ease. Families request Rudy to care for their child. He has a way about him that makes you relax and know you are in the best hands. He puts the patients first. He always has a smile and a friendly word to say during his shifts.
