Not more than 10-20 minutes after patient was seen by an Internist and a Surgeon, Stacy noted the she was "just not the same." He was concerned about her level of pain, rather than just give the ordered amount of morphine, he found the Internist to return to the patient's room. It was discovered she had a perforated viscus and was taken to surgery immediately. Stacy saved this patient's life.
