Tracey Maley

A patient from northern Ohio came to The Christ Hospital for surgery. The patient's father and mother met her here from Florida. The surgery was late in the day and unfortunately a complication arose post-op requiring the patient to be taken back into surgery urgently. Tracy was part of the OR team and after the return to the OR she stayed with the family in the ICU. The father of the patient developed chest pain and Tracey brought him to the ER for treatment. All the while she kept the family apprized of the daughter's condition. At one point, she brought the father back to the bedside as the prognoses was grim and the father wanted to be with his daughter. All in all Tracey spent 24 straight hours at the hospital. Tracey is a true testament to her character as a person and as a nurse.
