“She went above and beyond the call of duty.  She is everything a hospital seeks out when looking for a nurse.  And due to her absolute compassion, our last moments with our baby boy were perfect.  We thank you for the care you showed our twin sons and for giving all of us the gift of being a whole family for that brief time in the NICU.

Tammy not only took the time to contact a photographer from Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, to take our family photographs but she also met the photographer on her day off and personally brought her to the NICU as we were pulling our son off life support.  Little did we know at the time these precious moments in time would be captured on camera. She also arranged with great care and compassion and very little sleep for Angle One to transport our twin at ACH to be with his brother at UAMS.

When our sons were brought back together you gave us the simple gift of contact that resulted in precious time that provided us with closure and love that we will cherish forever.  We were so blessed as a family to have this caring, wonderful nurse who put her entire life on hold for 2 days so that our family of 4 could have those memories of a life time.

I would also like to thank her so much for stopping by to continue to check on the surviving twin the entire time he was in the NICU and even months after while as we tried to settle in as a family of 3 instead of 4.  She will forever be a part of our memories of our son’s short, wonderful life and will have a special place in our hearts for all that she did that was above and beyond her duties but not above the type of human being she is. We are forever grateful for her service, friendship and compassion.”
