Tina Ghazarrian

“My wife recently broke her wrist snowboarding that required surgery. She is a strong-willed woman and does not like it if she is scared, hurt, etc.  When I brought her in for surgery, Tina was able to make her (and me) feel really comfortable with her genuine kindness. She deserves the DAISY Award.”

Tina has been at GAMC since 2003 following nursing school graduation. She has completed and received her BSN while working here, and is now working on her Master's in Nursing while teaching part time at a vocational nursing school.

She is gifted with excellent critical thinking skills, and she remains calm in emergency situations. Tina is well liked and respected by her peers. She is a great patient/family advocate because she takes their concerns to heart and intervenes before any situation escalates.  She is able to handle difficult situations calmly and with a positive attitude.  She is a good leader and team player, assisting the staff to keep the unit running smoothly.
