Vivian de la Cruz

Vivian de la Cruz is a Staff Nurse III on the Medical Surgical Unit at Kaiser Richmond. The DAISY nomination boxes were brimming with comments from families, patients, and staff members about Vivian de la Cruz.

One patient stated, "Vivian treated me as if I were a family member; always true and compassionate." Another patient stated, "I'm new to this area, I relocated from Louisiana and my family had not joined me yet when I was struck with illness. I was scared and alone. Vivian comforted and assured me daily. She is truly my angel."
