When the time comes to be a patient in the hospital, we want to have the very best nursing care possible. We want a compassionate nurse who will use her knowledge and skills to make things better for us and our family members. We want a nurse who loves coming to work, caring for those who need her expertise. That special nurse appeared at the bedside of a patient at our hospital recently – times two! Yes, to the amazement of the family, they were blessed with not one, but two outstanding nurses, Armie Slater and Xoey Vang.

Wanting to express the family’s appreciation for the kindness and compassion these nurses exhibited, the wife wrote “… to tell you what excellent care my husband received when he was in CICU for two days (he passed away in the early morning hour). I cannot say enough about the care given by two very special nurses. I wrote down their names just so I could tell the people in charge how very caring they were. In spite of our large family being there at the bedside, and probably causing some inconvenience, these two nurses continued to be patient and caring. We so appreciated that special effort. Would you please convey our thanks to these two dedicated ladies.”
