Zelda rarely complains. She always has a smile on her face or a kind word of encouragement. Zelda has a great disposition and is a pleasure to work along side.
She is a true team player. I have yet to here Zelda say “no” or “can you ask someone else” when asked to assist.
I have witnessed Zelda go beyond her duties on several occasions. I recently had a patient diagnosed with a CVA. She showed signs of expressive aphasia. The patient was very distracted and upset. She had no family to contact. The patient’s main concern was related to the whereabouts of her vehicle. She was brought in by ambulance after being found disoriented in a parking lot. Zelda took the time to decipher the patient’s words. Zelda alleviated the patient’s fears, located her vehicle and made arrangements with a friend to recover the car. The patient was very grateful and started to relax.
