Alan Schweser of the GW Hospital Surgery unit received an outstanding 17 nominations from his colleagues. The following was read in honor of Alan Schweser:

The DAISY Award is about what we do for everyone who passes through the doors of the hospital. The voices we heard have been from the families, but what if the family cannot see what an individual does for their loved one. Who will be that voice to recognize an outstanding care giver? When we received 17 nominations for the same person, we need to listen. So what did all of these team members say about Alan Schweser?
