I met Alecia in ER at Mercy West. Alecia is a very special nurse. You know she loves her job, very caring, kind, and thoughtful nurse. She puts her patients first. I only met her at Mercy West in the ER for about 2 or 3 hours. She was very kind and caring nurse. I care for her very much.

Very pleasant and energetic. Great attitude, even though I was a handful. However, she was the best nurse I have ever had. She really took care of my needs and was very pleasant to me.

I was in excruciating pain and all I could do was moan and groan. I couldn't put the words together to ask verbally for medicine. Alecia rushed into my room and said let me help make you feel better. She gave me medicine and my pain left right away! She went above and beyond to help me. She's exceptional!

Alecia was very caring. She answered all of our questions. She is a valued employee for Mercy Hospital plus a joy to talk with. She is a pleasure.

Very friendly, outgoing, and helpful nurse. She went out of her way to make me comfortable and she sympathized with me during my time of illness. Her humor goes a long way!

My first contact with Alecia was via phone where she gave me a very thorough report and was so very pleasant and helpful in doing so. When I arrived at the ER to do a patient exam (her patient), she was even more helpful and always had a sweet smile on her face. Alecia has a very calming presence, not only for her patient but for me as well. She even found a sandwich for me.

She was nice. More than she needed to be. She also gave me a sandwich when I was hungry.

She was very nice, good bedside manner and polite. They had a hard time getting my IV in. She came right in and took her time with me and got in on the first try. That was great. Made me happy.

She did what no one else could do, putting in my IV and getting blood on the first stick from the patient. She was kind and she knows what she is doing. She is respectful, nice and funny at the same time. We would love to have her if we have to come back. She is a bright shining star and deserves this DAISY Award. I'm sure that other patients will feel the same about her.
