A child was brought to the ED, with what was thought, by the parents, to be an allergic reaction. Aleshia bonded with the child's mother and the mother specifically asked for Aleshia's phone number to help keep her updated on the patient after he was transferred to another hospital in Nashville. Aleshia was very comforting and reassuring to the family that was very distraught. She made the family feel very comfortable and encouraged them that their son would be ok. They were relieved that she was so helpful and reassuring. Aleshia stayed in contact with the family and was updated on the patient by the mother until he recovered.
