She first off cares about you as a patient and a person. Alex always takes time to explain what she is going to do first then does it and will ask you if you have any questions afterward. She never makes it feel like she has to rush in and out like I am a bother to her. No question is too small, she always makes time to answer everything. Alex tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible, even though you are having the worst possible time or you would not be in ICU. I have been in many other hospitals and have spent over 70 days at a time during one hospital stay. So I think I am a good, no a GREAT, judge when it comes to a wonderful, caring and compassionate nurse and with Alex, you have all of that. Alex is a true DAISY Nurse and you are lucky to have her.
