My experience at Eskenazi Hospital....I came in for surgery and got worse during surgery. The doctors and the nurses were there for me when I was on my last breath. My pressure started deteriorating and after surgery was done they rushed me up to SICU. The nurses and the staff upstairs were working with God's hands. As well as the doctor's who performed my surgery. This made for my third near death experience. My pressure had dropped to that of a child's and I'm a 69-year-old woman. The doctors and nurses here were truly guided by God's hands. I have always suffered from high blood pressure and this was the opposite.
The doctors and nurses here at Eskenazi truly work with God's hands. They are so caring and they always look out for you. They cater to you and your needs. They need the recognition that they well deserve for saving people's lives. People talk to them like dirt and these people deserve all the respect. I am a perfect example of that. My doctors were with me to help me. I was well treated by professional ladies and gentlemen to make sure I was comfortable and that I was okay day and night. I take my hat off to the doctors, nurses, RTs and stocking techs. Kind words go a long way when you are sick. That's what someone with the hand of God did for me.
My appreciation to these angels. They need to be recognized for who and what they are. God's angels. I thank each and every one of them for being there when I needed them. These professionals have no judgment and they were there for me. That means so much to me. I want to thank the doctors who performed my surgery and nurses who cared for me after.
