1)Mandy is always upbeat and compassionate about her patients. When bringing patients to Med-Surg, Mandy's report is always accurate and complete. When patients arrive, they are clean and well aware of their plan of care.

2)My dad has been very sick for the last couple of years. He would have to come to the ER to be seen a lot and most of the time had to be admitted. My dad loved it when Mandy was working because he loved talking to her about farming and other stuff. When we couldn't get my dad to eat, Mandy could get him to. On Friday, March 1 my dad came to the ER for the last time. Mandy was his nurse and she took wonderful care of him and my family. She would do everything she could to make him comfortable. He was admitted that day into the Hospice room. When she brought him upstairs to his room, she was telling him bye for the last time and she started crying. She came back up after she would get off work to see him and check on us. My dad passed away on Sunday, March 3rd. Mandy came up when she found out and checked on us to see if we needed anything. I know she didn't have to do this because we were not her patients. Mandy has a heart of gold and takes great care of her patients. Angel Medical Center is blessed with a lot of great nurses that took great care of my dad during his sickness.

3) Mandy is truly a wonderful compassionate nurse. I work with Mandy on a day to day basis and have seen and witnessed what a great nurse she is. She is always kind, understanding, and listens to her patients. I recently have had several visits to the Emergency Room and Outpatient Services where Mandy was there for my daughter. She followed my daughter wherever I asked her to go when my daughter needed an IV. Needles for some people no matter what age creates a lot of anxiety and trauma and my daughter is one of those people. Mandy took time and patience and dealt with each visit for us and made things go as smooth as possible with her and I truly am thankful for this. I have told Mandy many times how grateful I was knowing she was there each time we were here and took my daughter as a patient. Mandy also made time to put an IV in for her when she had a scan and then came down to another for her IV for her surgery. This was very much appreciated so I nominate her for the DAISY Award that she so deserves.
