Andrea was able to help my Dad through some difficult and scary tests and treatments that he rejected by other staff members. She "read" his sometimes "cranky, difficult " personality and was so patient and kind, yet firm, that he needed to (for example) wear his bi-pap machine for a certain amount of time. He absolutely responded to her great bedside manner and trusted her to do the best job she could to help him.
Our family appreciates all the time Andrea spent with us explaining test results and treatments necessary to help my Dad. He transferred to a rehab facility where he passed away sadly 2 days later. When I arrived alone to see him at Medina Hospital ER, I asked for Andrea. She came immediately down to hug me and be with me until my brother and sister arrived. She will forever be in my heart for the great nurse and caregiver she is.
