Recently, I went to Beebe Healthcare for a stress test. It was my first visit to this facility. Needing cataract surgery in both eyes and being a senior citizen, I needed to find a Primary Care Physician to do an EKG. I failed the EKG, my blood pressure was elevated and it was discovered that I had high cholesterol. Not a good start. I was concerned that the stress test would find more problems. I am sure that my voice and body language exhibited my psyche as the RN came to escort me to the testing center.
Anne Villalobos immediately put me at ease with her smile accompanied by her warm and pleasant personality. We started a conversation and I continued to become more relaxed. Anne thoroughly explained the process of the stress test and answered all my questions. As we waited for her two colleagues we talked about family, parents, grandchildren. We talked about her training and exchanged funny stories. Anne also gave me good advice on living a healthier life. She even laughed at my jokes.
Simply put Anne was the consummate professional by quickly identifying my trepidation, putting my mind at ease, and treating me like I was a member of her family. I wasn't patient #6 that day for Anne I was a newfriend who was trying to find a way to relax. Anne did just that. Anne cared for how I felt. For her I was special, and she made me feel important.
Anne clearly enjoys her job and exhibited great pride in working for Beebe Healthcare. Anne was compassionate, empathetic, respectful and personable. Anne is the consummate professional and a tremendous asset to Beebe Healthcare.
I left the hospital with a smile on my face because of Anne Villalobos. Anne Villalobos made a difference!
