I was scheduled for a 2 hour outpatient endoscopic procedure which became a huge "incision" surgery. Within 36 hours I was in Respiratory Failure and moved to All Saints ICU. Annetta cared for me 13 hours a day for 4 straight days with serious attention, but a lighthearted manner which lifted my spirits and reassured both me and my wife. Her competent confidence gave me the hope I needed to make it through this very scary week. She never left me hanging. My stress was always kept in check because I never had to wonder if she'd come help me.
The other wonderful thing about Annetta is that she always kept me informed and educated as to what was happening. Sharing her wealth of knowledge and her easy collaborative manner, set my mind at ease and made me feel I was a part my recovery process.
I must also compliment the entire ICU department and the manner in which you run it. Every single nurse, therapist, and staff member I encountered was a positive experience. Upper management seems to consciously approach scheduling and staffing with maximum continuity of care in mind for the most optimum patient outcome. We can't say thank you enough. I am truly amazed and impressed at how much good I observed and experienced.
