I was very anxious about my first radiation treatment. After the brachytherapy was completed and in the interim before my husband brought me back into the treatment room, I became overwhelmed and began to cry. I said I needed a hug and Bea did not hesitate to come and hold me to calm me before my husband came in.
Each of my treatments are very stressful for me especially as soon as I enter the treatment room, but Bea is there and makes it possible for me to feel stronger and more positive to get through it. I feel that she treats me always with respect, takes an interest in me personally. I don't feel just like "another patient." She is patient waiting with me until my husband returns to the treatment room. My husband feels calmer knowing Bea is with me until he joins me after the treatment is done. She also helped me a few times on the phone when I was experiencing discomfort after the treatment.
