Beth is a kind and compassionate nurse and colleague. Beth took her compassion one big leap further when she learned of one of our co-workers who was mourning a grandchild who was about to have life support removed. Beth found out the details of where the family was and drove out of state to offer comfort to extended family of our coworker. Beth took several pictures of their child and prepared foot and hand prints from clay/plaster. These clay molds where then given to another nurse who completed them with plaster and paint creating 3-D plaques for the family.
Both of these nurses are kind and compassionate with our patients and their families. This gesture of kindness was a fantastic representation of that compassion.
