I was having a very rough evening with pain. My knee was in excruciating pain throughout the night, along with my back. At one point, I was literally in tears. Thanks to Brandi, she was able to calm me down, make some adjustments on the bed so that I would be more comfortable. She made contact with the treating physician and was able to increase my pain medicine to be more effective without knocking me out. All of this is an example of a nurse who cares and shows empathy towards her patients.
I hope you value her as an employee as much as I value her as a nurse. Thanks to the outstanding care I have received, I have no intention of going to any other hospital for treatment.

Brandi was the overnight nurse who cared for me during my recent stay at St. Rose. She thoroughly reviewed my chart and finally made corrections to errors that have been there for years. She explained what information they had and what the doctors were ordering to do next. She made me feel secure and as if I was the only patient in the facility.
Everything and everyone was there to ensure my well being and recovery. It was a calm, comforting feeling in which she bathed me. Even when she would need to leave and attend to another patient, I did not feel as if someone more important had whisked her away. When she returned, she would apologize for the interruption and continue with the task at hand. She thoroughly reviewed and updated my history. She reviewed the day's findings, the doctor's diagnosis and suspicions, as well as the plans for her shift and the next day. She anticipated my needs before I even asked, and she seemed to know what would make me more at ease. She was animated and conversational, but not overbearing and exhausting.
I knew she had many other charges, but she still managed to make me feel as if I was providing her with insightful and entertaining conversation, witty and original, and certainly not something she would have made the mistake to miss.
Brandi is a delightful young woman with much to offer any employer lucky enough to have her. She certainly provides her patients with that indefinable something that speeds recovery.
God blessed me last night with a true Earth-bound angel to help calm and care for me. I would give her daily daisy bouquets. Brandi is a treasure to all!
