I was a transfer from ER to 7th Floor on Saturday. I was scared about the care that I will receive because I have never been admitted to Katy Memorial Hermann Hospital. All those thoughts changed when I was greeted politely by my nurse, Brenda Barreto.
Brenda smiled and welcomed me into the room. She told my daughter where things are and what phone number to call for her and my Patient Care Assistant. Brenda treated me with respect because I do not speak good English or understand English well. She asked my daughter about my medical history and explained to me and my daughter about the medications that I will receive at the hospital. Brenda was always delighted to assist me instantly when I called. She is a very caring and compassionate nurse. I'm so glad she could be my nurse. Because of her, I will refer all my friends to this hospital.
