Brian has been such a great help. He is caring and knowledgeable in what he does. What I most felt comfortable and impressed with is the time he takes to explain everything as many times as needed. He is an exceptional person. My family and I thank him from the bottom of our hearts.

Brian was hired to GAMC as a Patient Transporter while he was attending West Coast University BSN program. In 2012, he was selected to be a Summer RN Student Intern for critical care. When he graduated, he was hired as an RN Intern for Pulmonary Telemetry Unit. He then transferred to critical care and CICU in January 2015.
Brian is a strong patient advocate and spends most of his time at bedside. His AIDET skills are outstanding; patients, family members and physicians appreciate his energy, enthusiasm, and passion for quality care. He has been a strong supporter of our Beacon Award journey and preventing hospital acquired conditions. Weekly pressure ulcer picture taking and auditing to reduce HAPU in critical care units is his current endeavor. His charge nurses love to see him on duty because they know that he will help his peers to get things done on time.
