Caroline Ashman is a very conscientious individual who gives careful attention to detail during her daily operational routines. She is an energetic nurse leader who is respected by her colleagues, and her attitude, spirit, and work ethic are contagious. In her service to patients and nurses as well as her collaborative relationships with other nurse leaders, Caroline has learned to work with a variety of different personalities and has become quite proficient in dealing with people of diverse backgrounds and needs. In her role as the Director of Professional Development and Education as well as her membership in various hospital committees, Caroline has demonstrated professional and exemplary leadership and managerial skills second to none. Additionally, Caroline has mentored many new nurses entering the nursing profession and has molded them into the highly skilled and competent professionals they are today.
Yet, above all of Caroline's many wonderful traits shines her commitment to education, professional development, patient service and patient safety. To Caroline, not only patients, but nurses are a priceless commodity, and she provides quality education, direction, and guidance to everyone she leads with the dignity, courtesy, and respect each deserves.
