Caroline was always capable but consistently went above and beyond her job. She took great care with my husband (the patient) but also took care of me and our two daughters as well. She did her best at all times with our questions, anxiousness, and needs of any kind. She was compassionate, caring, encouraging, helpful with and exceptionally cheerful. It was a delight to have her for 2 days and we were all distraught when they moved us to another floor. Thank you for such excellent care.

My dad came to SPH with a punctured bowel that ended up needing surgery. Everyone that cared for him was great but Caroline was by far the best and made my dad feel so much better. She checked on both my dad and me, my mom and my sister very frequently. She asked us all if we needed anything and took time to check on all of us. She has a calm and sweet voice and I felt that my dad was in very capable hands. She was the first nurse to really make my dad smile while he was in so much pain and that meant so much. When my dad had to move floors I wanted to take Caroline with us! Caroline is the perfect embodiment of what a caregiver should be. We were so blessed to get her as his nurse she made everyone feel better. I will forever be grateful for Caroline.

Caroline was a breath of fresh air from the moment my family met her. The attention and care she provided not only to my dad but the whole family, was first class. She took care of every need and request with a smile. We rarely ever needed to ask for anything because she thought and planned ahead. Her kindness, gentleness, and compassion continued to go above and beyond. As a fellow nurse, I will always remember and value her care. St. Pat's is lucky to have her. She is a wonderful nurse.
