Caroline worked Thanksgiving night shift. Outstanding bedside manner! I felt she was truly interested in taking care of me. She has a natural sweet caring kindness that is overflowing as soon as she walks in the room. My pulse rate went too high during the night, due to an oversight by the doctors not prescribing my blood pressure medicine that I take at home. I got short of breath, nervous, and uncomfortable. Caroline was very calming and she also realized the medicine they were giving me in my breathing treatments were not what I use at home and could have also run my pulse up. She made a big note that the doctor could not miss. Caroline is probably one of the best nurses I have had during my 95years. She would be a great team leader, teacher, or supervisor, but she probably thrives on that patient interaction.

Most important thing to us, she came into my room when it was time to give me my meds. She opened my meds one-at-a-time and told me what it was. I was able to see exactly what I was taking and was not nervous that she could give me something incorrect. The majority of nurses just put all the meds in a little cup and then hand it to me. I wonder "what is in this cup that I should not be taking".
