Our mother suffered a stroke and was a patient at your hospital for nearly 3 weeks. Sadly for our family, she was not able to overcome medical complications and passed away. Even though her passing has been very difficult for our family, we wanted to express our true gratitude for the great personal attention and kindness many of your staff gave our mother while she was being treated. We are extremely grateful to all of the nursing staff who attended to our mother, we would like to further acknowledge that the care, attention, and compassion provided by several were exemplary and appreciated beyond words.
Cat was on duty during mom's final hours. During that time, Cat was very attentive to meeting all of our mom's needs as well as providing great comfort to our entire family as Mom's life was approaching its end. Her extraordinary efforts included: explaining to our family in a very sensitive and compassionate way what to expect to see as our mom's life was nearing its end, arranging to have the harpist play in Mom's room, who brought her much joy, as well as summoning the chaplain. These events helped instill great comfort and peace during an extremely sad and emotional time for our family.
