From the time my wife was admitted after surgery and for the two additional days that followed, Charlotte was the sunshine that lit up my wife's spirit each time she entered the room. Her compassion, desire, and thoughtfulness were top-shelf. By the third day of enjoying Charlotte as my wife's nurse, I started calling them sisters. She was professional and meticulous in her performance, but it was all the little extra steps to ensure my wife's comfort that turned an otherwise stressful situation into a true pleasure. Even when I learned of my father's death during our stay, it was Charlotte who approached me in the hallway to offer her condolence and extended information that allowed me to pray in St Francis Hospital chapel. Charlotte is a true blessing to this hospital, to her patients, and to her craft.
