I was having difficulty getting my meds (that I normally take) and told Christina to help get it fixed. I gave her my meds list for pills taken in the A.M. and P.M., which are for asthma, heart, etc. She diligently worked with the pharmacy, my doctor, and me, and she was able to work out all the issues.

Now, mind you, I have been on IV steroids plus numerous other medications since I arrived, and I must admit, I can get out of control quickly while on steroids – makes me a Wild Woman! Christina maintained her cool and worked the issue when, in fact, she probably would have rather walked out the door! I apologized to her and told her I would behave from here on out.

Christina deserves to receive this award for her tremendous control and trying to get me taken care of properly. She is truly a great nurse (as well as everyone else), but she really needs a KUDO from this wacky patient.

I also spoke to the Charge Nurse and explained what happened and apologized to her, also. Let’s hear it for a wonderful, caring and in-control nurse from the patient in Room ____.

Great hospital and great employees. You guys really deserve the praise. Thank you!
