We have had several nurses throughout our stay at Vallejo Kaiser and none who can compare to this nurse's compassionate standard. My mother had a massive stroke after Thanksgiving and we were always relieved to see this nurse. She became our Christmas cheer during our difficult time and she made the stress from the holiday season more reassuring. As soon as this nurse would come to work, she would always immediately check up on us, but not just to give regular checkups as a nurse, but to also motivate us regardless of our weakened strength. This nurse would have conversations with us, share her nutritional knowledge, and give her own life experiences, which were more than meaningful. She thrives to be more than just an excellent nurse, and her thriving ambition is the true definition of a Kaiser staff worker. She's more than courteous and works to improve quality care. I left my family back in Alabama, left my job, slept at Vallejo Kaiser every night to be supportive of my mother. Although life may sometimes have its challenges, there are nurses Christina who make the biggest difference in the world all because of her sincere compassion, sincere kindness and putting true effort in investing the best interest for patients just like my mom. This nurse has been our motivational bridge that has been leading us towards beyond a victorious recovery. So thank you for being that rare gem. Thank you for having such a big heart. And thank you for giving us that fighting spirit we desperately needed. We will never forget you and your infectious encouragement. Please keep doing what you're doing! Thank you!
