When I was here in the hospital Becky helped me through a lot. I was only supposed to be here a day, but it turned into 4 days. I only had one outfit with me because I was only expecting to stay overnight, but after my surgery, on Monday I found out that I was moving in with someone else and had absolutely nothing with me. All I really had was my school computer (I'm homeschooled), one outfit and some toiletries, and that was about it. That night, she went to Walmart after getting my clothing sizes, and the next day came back with 5 bags of brand new clothes. I'm telling you, she has helped me a lot! Thank you!

Leanne Domzalski, the Cath Lab Nurse Supervisor stated that "this story is a reflection of the compassion and kindness demonstrated by many members of our Cath Lab Team. Once the initial evaluation on the patient was complete, the nurses involved Social Work once it was determined that this patient may need alternative living arrangements at discharge, and they quickly arranged for the patient to be kept as an inpatient until a safe discharge could occur. Additionally, the team was so very touched by the patient's circumstances and went into action immediately to assist the young patient! Once she was admitted, this team of RNs, NPs and Cath Lab Techs pooled their money for new clothes and toiletries. They also donated clothes out of their own closets for this young girl and they did so within 48 hours!"
