Danielle is hands down the best person I have ever worked with (8 years ER). She will go beyond her duties every time to make sure everyone involved comes out extremely happy. She is a non-stop workhorse and I mean all shift, every shift. I haven't had such a genuinely nice, smart, quick thinking charge nurse before. The staff all respond right away if she needs anything because she knows how to treat her staff and puts in the work herself to get the respect. The ED would not be the same without Danielle.

Working in the Emergency Medical Department to start with is not an easy job, it needs cool-mindedness, as anything possibly wrong with the human body can be presented in the Emergency Department. From MVA trauma to gunshots, stabs, to failure of organs individually or as a combination, all of a sudden or gradually. From ages newborn to 90 years or above. Danielle has it all; collected, non-panic state and has a soothing and calming effect on others. She is a Charge Nurse who runs the place smoothly. She also seems to have compassion for people, especially sick people who are very miserable and who could be very insulting, sometimes abusive. Danielle is so kind and pleasant to them that even the toughest patient is content with her care and she then leaves a good teaching experience on her co-workers. She is so very kind. One also has to be passionate about this kind of work and dedicated, Danielle is. She stays longer than her required shift to help other colleagues. She is a team player, one has to come to grips with the fact that, although all medical fields require teamwork, the Emergency Medicine field cannot operate without strong teamwork and she heads that team. She is also here to learn and teach, never embarrassed to say "I don't know, teach me" and never holds back knowledge that could help others. It has been a pleasure to work with her and to see her working with you on your shift makes you take a sigh of relief, knowing that everything will be okay and not chaotic.
