When patient was brought into CCU, Dawn was very positive and when things seemed very dismal she was positive. She spoke to him constantly and very positively. He was in a coma. Therefore when I walked in his CCU room, Dawn was tending to his needs. I heard her asking him what he does for work and etc. and I believe he heard everything she would say to him while we were away. She also was so thorough while monitoring all those machines and monitors. When I was away from the CCU room I did not worry about his care. She was going off duty and as she left she said I'll see you up in your room. Which we didn't know for sure if he would be waking up. Also, one very special point when "last rights" by a catholic priest were given he assured us she was very respected and when the priest left we all said a special prayer and we couldn't speak because we would start crying so she helped us out very appreciative. She called us by our names and answered every question we might think of. Also she hung a copy of the prayer above his bed. I'll quote her "yes and I think this really suits him". I thought she does know him. And he was in a coma the entire time she spent with him. Today 3 days later he is out of the coma successfully and I'm very sure it is because of how she cared for him from the day he arrived.
