Thank you for the wonderful care you provided during my dad's stay at CDU. It was very assuring to have such caring staff. My parents were very concerned. Your patience and support were wonderful. It certainly made my mom feel more secure to know he was in good care. Thank you!

I would like to express how thankful I am for the kindness and compassion that I experienced from Nurse Diane Bowles. In one of my darkest hours, she immediately presented herself with joyfulness, a huge smile, was professional, and reassuring. I felt alone and scared. My only comfort was God, and he sent me one of his Angels to watch over me…take care of me like I were her own child. This touched my heart and made me feel so much better. "Diane Bowles' love for her job is effortless and I feel truly blessed that Diane was assigned to my room. I will always keep her in my prayers and I hope God continues touching the lives of others. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet Diane Bowles.

I have been in many hospitals. I have a TBI and suffer from many things caused from that such as epilepsy, bipolar, anxiety and mood problems, as well as a speech impediment. At times, I can get emotional and frustrated and I am on medication for short-term memory loss. After all of the in and out of the many doctors I saw over 2 days, Diane was always there afterward to help go over and explain anything I did not understand at first. Diane made me feel special, like I was the only one in the hospital she had to deal with. I feel Diane could feel when my anxiety was growing. She would take the time to talk to me like a person. We talked a lot about our kids growing up and compared stories until, before I knew it, I was relaxed. Diane would check on me often, pain levels, etc., as I was in quite a bit of it. Diane seemed to think of all my needs and even reminded me to eat when I was just going to blow it off. I was relieved that Diane explained who I was and my situation to the other nurses and I feel they gave me some extra time to explain things. Thanks to her, I have spent quite a bit of time in hospitals over the past 10 years, been in a coma, and even pronounced dead once. Out of all my stays, nobody had ever made me more comfortable and treated me like a real person, actually almost like a family would. I think Henry Ford should be proud to have someone as special a Diane representing your hospital and I hope everyone has the special positive experience that I have had with Diane being my nurse.
