I wanted to briefly express my appreciation for the extra effort put forth by Diane Eckert in caring for my patient on 5C today. She was completely familiar and anxious to assist me with his evaluation and management, despite the fact she was not directly responsible for him. The input of such a concerned and intelligent bedside caregiver is invaluable. This was not particularly unusual for Diane, but I've never really expressed what an outstanding individual and she is. Please accept this note of thanks on her behalf, and hire as many like her as you can find. Thanks again!

Diane Eckert is a great teacher. She always takes the new RNs under her wing and works with them to improve their skills. She is a wonderful patient advocate and is extremely conscientious to their needs. You will never see her sitting down on the job.

Diane is an exceptional nurse. Her clinical expertise and skill level are consistently demonstrated in her nursing interactions. She is strong role model for the profession of nursing. She is extremely dedicated to her practice and makes herself available to any need that may present itself. Diane’s co-workers recognize her as a strong resource and mentor. Her compassion for her patients, families and co-workers is palpable. This allows her to easily engage with people at a level where they feel at ease and comfortable. Diane is an advocate for the “person” and her work is never-ending. I am privileged and honored to work with her!
