Thank you, Liz! I am so thankful you walked into my son's room. You are extremely loyal to your patients, protecting them at all costs. There have been a handful of nurses who have forever impacted my life. First, the ICU RN who held me in her arms as my mother passed away. Second, the antepartum nurse I shadowed who took the time to explain the complexities of being an antepartum RN, and then you, the NICU RN who swooped me into her arms for a hug I didn't know I needed and let me sob when we didn't know what was wrong with my son.
