My wife MA had neurosurgery and was moved to ICU that afternoon. While all the nurses on duty were extremely nice, Elizabeth always took special care to explain everything she was going to do, and was as gentle as she could possibly be when moving MA, giving her injections, or pushing IV meds, and fluids. She even was kind enough to gently place pills in to MA’s mouth as her hand/eye coordination was off. She is a true credit to the nursing profession, the professionals at Methodist University Hospital and the Neuro ICU. She went above and beyond and deserves the DAISY Award.
