During my recent stay, I had to undergo multiple tests, including two heart stress tests. After completing one of my stress tests, my pain and nausea reduced me to tears, leaving me feeling unable to continue with the further phases of my testing. In my bed, I quietly wept, awaiting nursing assistance. Within a very short time, Nurse Grace arrived to care for me. It was obvious to me that she was truly concerned for my overall wellbeing. She quickly began taking care of my immediate needs. While administering nausea medication, she also held my hands, quietly offering just the right words of encouragement, giving me comfort, as I regained control.
Her sincere empathy and heartfelt care were priceless. I cannot begin to put into words, the incredibly positive impact it had on me, to be able to draw from her support, at a time when I really needed it. I am certain, that without her extremely caring intervention, encouragement and support, I would not have been able to go on to the next phases of my testing. As she moved on, to care for her other patients, she assured me that she would be awaiting my return, ready to take care of me when I got back from the rest of my tests.
Thank you so very much, Nurse Grace! What you did for me is truly appreciated. The extraordinary care and effort that you put forth truly touched the heart of this grateful patient!
