While I was on the 4th floor doing education with Holly Wright, one of the HCAs came up to inform Holly that one of her patients was crying. When Holly asked her what was going on, the HCA began telling us that this patient wasn't sure how to repay Holly for her kindness and generosity.

When asked what she was referring to, the patient informed the HCA that she was having a lot of personal issues and she had no family here; she wasn't from here and she had no clothing with her. She was going to another facility for further treatment and Holly went out and purchased her some clothing so that she would have something to wear.

When co-workers acknowledged Holly's actions-telling her that was so nice; her response was "I just wanted my patient to know that there are people that care about her and that things can and will get better for her". She said that we all struggle from time to time and we need to know that there are people out there that care.

I just want Holly to know that what she did for that patient and all of her patients makes a difference for them. She went above and beyond and she is greatly appreciated for everything she does.
