Jana was nominated for her care and concern for her patients. This patient was diagnosed with heart disease in 2005 and was sent to cardiac rehab where she met Jana. She noted that Jana cared and was concerned for all her patients. Then in 2007 the patient was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to receive radiation. There was concern due to the radiation reaching her heard. When the patient had her appointment with her cardiologist Jana went with the patient to her appointment. She asked all the questions necessary to find out how this would affect her already damaged heart. She made sure the patient wouldn't have any issues with her treatment plan.
