Not only did Jessica meet my needs medically but she also went above and beyond to meet them mentally and emotionally. I can tell by her demeanor that she has a lot of compassion for her job. Jess not only demonstrates professionalism and is an outstanding RN, she is also caring, comforting and very supportive. She has a very gentle and personable approach whenever she enters my room for any reason. She responded appropriately with prompt timing anytime I needed her. Even though she was very busy and had received a new admission, she prioritized her time well. I'm pretty sure she cut her break short in order to give me my meds on time. She exhibits a lot of passion for her job and made me feel as if she genuinely cared about my recovery. As busy as she was, she made time to sit down with me and listen to my journey towards sobriety which is where I was headed before I was in a really bad car accident and ended up in Jessica's care. She didn't judge me for my mistake. As I cried, she sat next to me and gave me a hug which was very needed for around four days! She also went out of her way to get me info on recovery and addiction. It would be a blessing to the healthcare field if it had more people with the passion and skills like Jessica.
