Jessica Pankey, BSN RN, was nominated for the DAISY Award by two different families.
One family member said, “While my father was in the hospital, her care and nursing skills as well as her advocacy for my dad’s well being was outstanding. She kept my dad clean and comfortable and made him feel he was in trusted hands. Upon being transferred to the 5th floor she continued to visit him at the end of her shift, which made his day.”
Another patient’s mother commented, “ Jessica clearly deserves the DAISY Award. Her customer service and quality nursing skills are exemplary.” And lastly, the patient’s sister stated, “Jessica took care of my brother for eight days. She gave him lots of attention. She lifted him up in his bed because he was too weak. Jessica is truly nice and amazing!”
