Jisha provided care for my mother. We only had the pleasure of having Jisha assigned as a nurse for 2 shifts but Jisha visited us throughout my mother's stay at the hospital and then came for a visit when we were at the rehab facility.
I don't know if I can come up with enough words to describe the high quality of care Jisha provided to us. Jisha's compassion and caring exceeded any nurse I've had the pleasure of coming into contact with. Jisha's knowledge and skills as a nurse were evident in all care and communication. Jisha cheered my mother on during every interaction. Jisha calmed me during times of concern and clearly demonstrated ICARE values! I can't think of another nurse who I have seen go above and beyond to the extent that Jisha did.
I brought mother home from Rehab in February and she has done very well at home, responding to home care physical therapy and exceeding their initial expectations. She is walking well with a walker, able to get outside, and eating well. The dementia is good most of the time, but she require a fulltime caregiver which is me and I have moved in with her. I do have a caregiver from Home Instead that comes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8-3 so I can work a little and do errands. It has been a real change of life, but a path I needed to take for her at this time.
I feel so blessed to have crossed paths with Jisha. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
