My father had a surgical procedure done, due to his age and multiple chronic conditions he ended up in the hospital longer than expected. Everyone on the floor was very nice and helpful, I guess in any setting there is always one individual that stands out, on this particular occasion it was Josephine. Every morning when we walk in, she greeted my father with big smile and enthusiasm, she always encouraged him to move, make sure he is upright either in bed or in the chair and has to walk during the day. She organized his side table with gauzes, topical, etc., at the same time she attends to my mother making sure she has a comfortable chair, a pillow and blanket as my mom was practically with my dad day and night.

One day Josephine was not even the nurse assigned to my father, she was passing by his room and notice something different. Right away she screamed "RAPID" it turned out my father had turned ashen in color and his oxygen level was low. Rapid Response Team was paged and dad was saved. Thank you Josephine for being so attentive! You are a very kind, caring and highly skilled nurse.
