June was an absolute angel. TMMC has a fantastic team, but to us, June was the star. Her ability to speak fluent Korean was a given factor of why she's so great. She was event fluent in medical terminology. But it was her service - how she goes above and beyond - that makes her unforgettable. I was really nervous the first time I had to leave my mom alone, but it was because of June that I was able to go. Both my mom and June reassured me that they'll be okay, and my mom was. I returned to a happy mom, eager to share stories that June told her while I was gone. I appreciated how June shared her personal experience with injury so my mom would not be scared or worried. Their common connection helped my mom trust her advice. June was always cheerful throughout her shift and encouraged my mom to get better. Thank you for helping my mom manage her pain and lift her spirit.

I feel extremely blessed for having a nurse who spoke a common language and so fluently. June was so knowledgeable about everything. She would foresee a problem that I might not have and take care of it before it became a problem (i.e. poor blood circulation). June was not condescending at all when she explained things - she was so patient. I know she had many patients to attend to, but she made me feel like I was her only one. I appreciated how she came in even though nothing was wrong. She was concerned about how I was doing and that my pain was being properly managed. June, thank you so much for working so hard to help me get better!

June is without a doubt the most caring, proficient, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable RN that we have encountered in any of our 80-year span of hospital stays. TMMC is very, very fortunate to have her. My wife entered TMMC on the very brink of renal failure with hepatic, cardiac, bladder, and other yet undiscovered complications. She had 5 doctors caring for her and trying to determine what the root cause of the renal failure was. June helped coordinate the doctor's efforts, helped us to better understand the doctors' findings as well as the need for the many tests and scans required including discussion of the results. Despite June's other workload she always made time to attend to my wife's needs in the most caring way, never leaving before everything was taken care of; she also responded to my questions in the sincerest, thorough and caring manner. As the treatments progressed, June kept assuring my wife that her statistics were improving even though it wasn't yet evident physically; moreover, she convinced a very worried husband that progress was really being made. When the IV placed in admitting failed, June started a new one that was better placed than the first and with less trauma to my wife and when her final blood draw technician was late June drew the sample so the doctors would have it before discharge. In short, June treated us as she would treat a family member making what might have been an unpleasant hospital stay into one much less so.
